Leyton, plus Sidney and CV split squads, take part
Less than a week before the District D-11 track meet, the Potter-Dix Coyotes proved to be in top form as they captured both the boys' and girls' competitions at the Cheyenne County Invite at Sidney High School on Friday.
The Coyotes amassed 144 points in the boys' race to edge host Leyton with 114.5. Sidney and Creek Valley, which both split its squads between the Cheyenne County and the Bayard B-C-D, finished fourth and seventh, respectively.
The Potter-Dix girls piled up 192 points in that side of the competition to outpoint Leyton, which garnered 123. The Raiders were fourth, with the Storm...
