Under cloudy skies with misty air and an occassional steady rain, the Creek Valley Storm held its annual Invite at the Chappell Golf Club with nine teams attending.
The Storm finished in the middle of the pack with 384 strokes, which placed them fifth. The Bulldogs of Bridgeport won the Invite with a 334 total, which put them 11 strokes ahead of Dundy County/Stratton.
Among its four district challengers, Creek Valley finished ahead of South Platte (417), Garden County (417) and Hyannis (486). Mullen (362) and Sutherland (379) finished ahead of the Storm. Districts are scheduled for May 18, at...
