Jason Vogt, age 30, of Chappell, appeared for a pre-trial conference on two charges of distribution of meth within 1,000 feet of a school, both class 1D felonies. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to an amended charge of distribution of meth, a class III felony. Judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation report. Sentencing scheduled for May 4 at 2 p.m.
Berit Golden, age 27 of St. Paul, Minn., did not appear for a status hearing on a charge of possession of hash, a class IV Felony. Status hearing has been continued to April 22 at 1:30 p.m. in Sidney.
Samawada Isaak, age 25 of St. Paul, Minn., did not appear for a status hearing on a charge of possession of hash, a class IV Felony. Status hearing has been continued to April 22 at 1:30 p.m. in Sidney.
Robert Keuter, age 48 of Brule, did not appear for a status hearing on two charges of distribution of marijuana, both class III Felonies. Status hearing has been continued to May 4 at 1:30 p.m.
Logan Koetter, age 22 of McCook, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of possession of meth, a class IV Felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted possession of meth, a class I misdemeanor. He received one day in jail and 12 months probation.
Dennis Smart-Mead, age 23 of North Platte, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of possession of cocaine with intent and possession of cocaine, a class IC and IV felony, respectively. Status hearing set for May 4 at 1:45 p.m. pending suppression hearing.
Linzy Swisher, age 20 of Big Springs, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of possession of meth, a class IV felony. Pre-trial conference set for May 4 at 1:30 p.m. Jury trial set for May 18 at 8:30 a.m.
