Legion Park Pond restocked with more than 400 pounds of fish

Just in time for warm weather, the Sidney Legion Park Pond was stocked on Thursday with more than 400 pounds of trout. The pond is restocked by Cabela's and the City of Sidney each March, May and September.

Eric Ketchum, a fishing and marine outfitter at Cabela's along with Brian Hahle from Pleasant Valley Fish Farm in McCook, released the trout into the pond with nets.

Hahle said the trout range from two-thirds of a pound to six pounds.
