The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:
Judy Aguas, age 29 of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on a charge of Aiding and Abetting Theft, a class IV Felony. She received three years probation plus 30 days in jail.
Gary Vannatter Jr., age 28 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Distribution of Marijuana within 1,000 feet of a playground, a class II felony. He pleaded not guilty and a status hearing was set for April 14 at 9:30 a.m.
Leif Schleiker, age 28 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Distribution of Marijuana, a class III Felony. He pleaded not guilty and a status hearing was set for April 14 at 9:30 a.m.
Julian Salinas, age 21 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Possession of Meth, a class IV felony. He pleaded not guilty and a status hearing was set for April 14 at 9:30 a.m.
Stanley Russell, age 48 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 4th High and Felony Driving on a Revoked license, a class III and IV felony, respectively. He filed a Motion to Quash and the hearing is set for March 16 at 8:30 a.m.
Matthew Mitchell, age 32 of Oglala, S.D., appeared for arraignment on charges of Theft, Resisting Arrest, 3rd Degree Assault and parking in a handicap spot, a class IV felony, I misdemeanor, I misdemeanor and infraction, respectively. He pleaded guilty and received 36 days jail and a $100 fine plus court costs.
