The Nebraska Master Gardener Program is offering classes for those interested in horticulture on Tuesday nights through March 10 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Western Nebraska Community College’s Sidney campus. Grace Gardens Preschool will have it’s Open House on Feb. 25 from 5-7 p.m. Join us to meet the teachers, visit, refreshments. Currently accepting enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year.

Lifetree Café will host a program on how to overcome economic, racial and other divisions on Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. The program, titled “Coming Together: Finding Common Ground When It Seems Impossible,” features a screening of the lighthearted, award-winning South African short film “Kanyekanye.” Admission to the 60-minute event is free. The Sunol (Neb.) Community Center will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, March 8 at 5 p.m. at the center. Pot luck dinner will follow. Open to all.

Chili Cook Off 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Light Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1345 Linden St, Sidney. Participants can sample various chilies and vote for their favorite.
