The Nebraska Master Gardener Program is offering classes for those interested in horticulture on Tuesday nights through March 10 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Western Nebraska Community College’s Sidney campus. The Creek Valley FFA will hold an Agriculture Appreciation Breakfast on Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 7-8:30 a.m. at the Ag building.

The Sidney Public Library will be again be offering the “Together is Fun” program for youth kindergarten through 6th grade, Tuesday, Feb. 24. This program will begin at 4 p.m. and last approximately one hour. This program is free.

Elizabeth Gwin, a dental hygienist from the dental office of Scott Van Noy, D.D.S., will discuss periodontal disease and general oral health for individuals with diabetes on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m. Regional West Medical Plaza South, room 1202, Scottsbluff. Lifetree Café will host a program on how to overcome economic, racial and other divisions on Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. The program,

titled “Coming Together: Finding Common Ground When It Seems Impossible,” features a screening of the lighthearted, award-winning South African short film “Kanyekanye.” Admission to the 60-minute event is free. The Nancy Fawcett Memorial Library in Lodgepole will hold a “Jigsaw Puzzle” tournament on Sunday, April 19 from 1-5 p.m. Teams consist of two adults. Registration ends March 23 at 5 p.m.
