The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Feb. 9, 2015, before the Honorable Randin R. Roland:
Briana R. Sifuentez, age 19 of Dalton, appeared for preliminary hearing on two counts of Possessing a Forged Instrument, class IV felony. The court found that it appeared that the offenses occurred and that there is probable cause to believe that Sifuentez committed them.
Tony M. Christensen, age 22 of Dalton, appeared for preliminary hearing on two counts of First Degree Forgery, a class III felony. The court found that it appeared that the offenses occurred and that there is probable cause to believe that Christensen committed them.
Markanthony V. Pina, age 21 of Sidney, appeared for Arraignment on charges of Resisting Arrest, a Class I Misdemeanor; Obstructing a Peace Office, a Class I Misdemeanor and Disturbing the Peace, a Class III Misdemeanor. Pena was advised of his rights and requested an opportunity to visit with prosecution. Entry of plea continued to Feb. 23.
Scot Touney, age 31 of Sidney, appeared with counsel for a pre-trial conference on charges of Assault in the Third Degree, a Class I Misdemeanor, and Criminal Mischief, a Class II Misdemeanor. Touney entered a plea of guilty to the Criminal Mischief charge. The Assault charge was dismissed by the State. He was sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of $250 and costs of the action plus restitution in the amount of $272.
Rebecca Tuzicka, age 26 of Sidney, appeared with counsel for Entry of Plea on a charge of Procurring Alcoholic Liquor for a Minor, a Class I Misdemeanor. Tuzicka entered a plea of guilty. Tuzicka was sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of $500 plus costs of the action.
Kristi Jensen, age 39 of Julesburg Colo., appeared with counsel for a pre-trial conference on an Amended Complaint alleging Theft by Unlawful Taking, a Class II Misdemeanor, and Criminal Possession of a Financial Transaction Device, a Class III Misdemeanor. Jensen entered a plea of guilty to counts I and II. Jensen was sentenced to pay fines in the amount of $150 and $100 respectively and restitution was previously made plus costs of the action.
Roman Maes, age 23 of Sidney, appeared with counsel for Entry of plea on charges of Domestic Assault Third Degree, a Class I Misdemeanor, and Disturbing the Peace, a Class III Misdemeanor. Maes entered pleas of not guilty. Pre-trial conference is scheduled March 9.
Connie Siefer, age 48 of Sidney, appeared for Arraignment on a charge of Failure to Report an Accident, a class II Misdemeanor. Seifer requested court-appointed counsel. A financial affidavit was ordered. Entry of plea is scheduled Feb. 23.
Tara Gray, age 42 of Sidney, appeared for Arraignment on a charge of Procuring Alcoholic Liquor for a Minor, a Class I Misdemeanor. Gray waived counsel and entered a plea of guilty. She was sentenced to pay a fine in the amount of $500 plus costs of the action.
Nicholas Reinhart, age 24 of Sidney, appeared, in custody of the Cheyenne County Jail, for Arraignment on two counts Domestic Assault Third Degree, a Class I Misdemeanor. Reinhart requested court-appointed counsel. A financial affidavit was ordered. Entry of Plea is scheduled Feb. 12.
The following people appeared in Cheyenne District Court on Feb. 10, 2015, before the Honorable Derek C. Weimer:
Briana R. Sifuentez, 19 of Dalton, appeared for ARR on two counts of Possessing a Forged Instrument, a class IV felony. Status hearing is scheduled for March 4 at 9 a.m.
Tony M. Christensen, 22 of Dalton, appeared for ARR on two counts of First Degree Forgery, class III felony. Pretrial hearing is scheduled for March 10 9:30 a.m.
