Local players place in pool event

Brandon Bondegard of Sidney (see attached photo) took third place at the APA Pool League 8-Ball Fun & Cash tournament held recently at Silver Dollar and Harvey's in Sidney.

Finishing in fifth place were Judy Morrison from Sidney and Marty Couch from Lodgepole.

The tournament featured a field of 32 shooters from all over Western Nebraska and paid cash prizes to the top eight players.

APA events use a copyrighted handicap system that allows all players to compete nearly equally regardless of level of skill or experience.
