The Panhandle Partnership for Health and Human Services will hold a regional meeting at the Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Jan. 23. RSVP to Branda McDonald at [email protected] or call 762-2545 for more information.

Pairs-N-Half-A-Pair Square Dance Club will have a regular dance at the IOOF Hall in Gering from 7 to 9 p.m. with Lucky calling. We will have PLUS dancing from 6:30 to 7 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 25

Senior Citizen & Friends Dance will be held at the Cheyenne County Community Center on Sun., Jan. 25 from 2 p.m to 5 p.m. Music by Ray Mullen. Please bring a finger lunch.

Kimball Promenaders Square Dance Club will have a Federation Dance in the old 4-H building at the fairgrounds in Kimball on Sun., Jan. 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. A federation meeting at 3:30. The caller is Lucky.

Tuesday, Jan. 27

A mini-health fair will be hosted by the Regional West Physicians Clinic-Diabetes Care Center, with help from Western Nebraska Community College nursing students, on Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Medical Plaza South meeting room 1202. The mini-fair will be geared toward persons with diabetes and pre-diabetes and will feature interactive booths that focus on the parts of the body affected most by diabetes, including the eyes, feet, nerves, heart, and kidneys. Regional West Laboratory Services will provide non-fasting A1C draws for $11 each. For more information, contact Mary Skiles at (308) 630-3725.

The Crane Trust will hold a volunteer training session on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for people interested in serving as guides for viewing blind tours during the 2015 Spring Crane Migration. It will be held at the Crane Trust Nature and Visitor Center, located on the south side of Interstate 80 at the Alda Exit (#305). RSVP to Karen Krull Robart at (308) 384.4633 ext. 5 no later than Friday, Jan. 16th. A light lunch will be served.

4-H 101: Learn how to make the most of you and your child’s 4-H experience. Cheyenne County Fairgrounds on Monday, Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. Activities for youth will be available. Geared towards 4-Hers who have been participating 3 years or less. Call Cynthia Gill at County Extension office 254-4455 for more information.

The Compassionate Friends Valentine’s Dinner will be held on Thurs., Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. at Perkins Restaurant. This is our Annual Valentine’s Dinner. Come and join us for food and fellowship.
