The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, before the Honorable Randin R. Roland:
Melissa Nienaber, age 23 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment, in custody of Cheyenne County Jail, on charges of Criminal Mischief, Class II Misdemeanor and Disturbing the Peace, Class III Misdemeanor. Nienaber requested court-appointed counsel. Based on appointment in other matters, still pending, the court-appointed counsel to represent Nienaber. Entry of plea is scheduled Jan. 26, 2015.
Nichole Sandoval, age 32 of Sidney, appeared, with counsel, for entry of plea on a charge of Assault in the Third Degree-Fight by Mutual Consent, Class II Misdemeanor. Sandoval entered a plea of Not Guilty. Pre-trial Conference is scheduled Feb. 9, 2015.
Michelle Rawdon, age 56 of Sidney, appeared, with counsel for pre-trial conference on a charge of Proof of Financial Responsibility, class II Misdemeanor. Rawdon requested jury trial. Jury trial is scheduled Feb. 2, 2015.
Matthew Guthrie, age 28 of Sidney, appeared, with counsel, in custody of Cheyenne County Jail for pre-trial conference on charges of False Imprisonment in the Second Degree, Class I Misdemeanor and Assault in the Third Degree, Class I Misdemeanor. Guthrie requested the matter be set for trial before a Jury. Jury trial is scheduled April 20, 2015.
Rachel Jacobs, age 27 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Criminal Trespass-Second Degree, Class II Misdemeanor. Jacobs requested court-appointed counsel. A financial affidavit was ordered. Entry of Plea is scheduled Jan. 26, 2015.
Garrett Nelson, age 20 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on charges of Procurring Alcoholic Liquor for a Minor, Class I Misdemeanor and Possession or Consumption of Alcoholic Liquor by a Minor Older than Eighteen, Class III Misdemeanor. Nelson requested court-appointed counsel. A financial affidavit was ordered. Entry of plea is scheduled Jan. 26, 2015.
Tonia Fulton, age 43 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on an Amended Complaint alleging Issuing Bad Check, Class II Misdemeanor. Fulton waived counsel and entered a plea of guilty and was found guilty by the Court. Futon was sentenced to pay a fine in the Amount of $100, restitution and costs of the action.
