Sidney Regional Medical Center will close its Ogallala satellite office for Home Health and Hospice effective March 30. Services will be available through Grant Hospital.
For more than 10 years SRMC has provided home health and hospice services to families in the Ogallala and surrounding areas.
“It has been our pleasure to serve the needs of these communities,” said Jason Petik, the CEO at SRMC. “This decision was not an easy one to make. However in the best interest of our organization and resources, our outreach efforts will continue to address the needs of those in Cheyenne, Deuel and Kimball counties as well as the surrounding communities.”
The team is no longer taking new hospice patients and will discontinue taking new home health patients Jan. 30.
