The Sidney Public Library will resume Story-time on Thurs., Jan. 8 at 10:15 a.m. for children ages 4 and 5. Story and related finger plays are included

in this session as well. For more information and or to register please call the library at 254-3110.

Friday, Jan. 9

The Pairs-N-Half-Pairs Square Dance Club will have an After New Year’s Eve Dance on Friday, Jan 9th, at the IOOF Hall in Gering, with a carry-in soup supper at 6 p.m. Dance from 7 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 10

The Sidney Public Library will host a program on financial aid and college funding on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 10 a.m.-Noon. Andrew Hunzeker, Outreach Service Manager, from Scottsbluff, will discuss the free services available from the Education Quest Foundation. He will explain the different types of financial aid, how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), how colleges award financial aid and the student loan process. High school juniors and seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend. The program is free, but space is limited. Call the library at 254-3110 to reserve a spot.
