Send your Christmas wishes to military members in veteran’s hospitals. Visit the Nancy Fawcett Memorial Library in Lodgepole from 2:30-6:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday (Dec. 8-11 and Dec. 15-18) to sign a card or write a note. Cards, envelopes and postage are provided and they will be mailed on Dec. 20.

Cancer survivor support group meets every third Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dorwart Cancer Care Center. Great Topics and food. Call Leslie @ 250-1113 if questions.

Friday, Dec. 19

Third- and fourth-graders from North Elementary School will be singing Christmas carols at Hickory Square on Friday, Dec. 19 from 12:30-12:45 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 21

Santa Claus will visit the Nancy Fawcett Memorial Library in Lodgepole on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. He will be there for pictures and to hand out treats.

Tuesday, Dec. 23

Angel encounters will be explored at Lifetree Café on Tues., Dec. 23rd at 7 p.m. Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available. The Evangelical Free Church of Sidney will have its annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Wed., Dec. 24 at 6:30 p.m. The service will include the reading of the Christmas story, singing of Christmas carols, and the lighting of candles. Everyone is welcome to attend. The church is located at 2763 11th Ave.

Weyerts Immanuel Lutheran Church will hold a Christmas Eve Candle Light Service at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

There will be fellowship and snacks following the service.

Thursday, Dec. 25

Free 23rd Annual Christmas Dinner held at the First United Methodist Church on Thursday, Dec. 25 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Everyone welcome!!
