Susan Marie Lenzen Sneddon, 62 of Anchorage, AK, passed away peacefully on Oct. 29, 2014 at Autumn Spring Assisted Living Center in Anchorage.
Susan was born on July 12, 1952, at Sidney, to Thomas & Wilma (Broughman) Lenzen. She attended grade school and high school both at Sidney St. Patrick's graduating with class of 1970. She attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo.
She married Steven Parker in 1974 and later divorced in 1980. On Dec. 31, 1989, she married Lewis Sneddon JR. in Anchorage, where they would reside. She was employed in Anchorage with the Department of Justice in the U.S. Trustee office until her death.
She loved her work and had received several cash awards, time off awards, two outstanding performance, and one superior performance awards. Her interests included bowling, camping, & knitting. She loved to go on cruises, traveling to many countries and coin collecting.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis, parents Thomas and Wilma Lenzen and brother Thomas P. Lenzen. She is survived by two brothers William A. Lenzen (Mary Lou) of Arvada and David J. Lenzen (Virginia) of Smithfield, Neb., special lifelong best friend and cousin Kathryn Kimmons and also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation as cremation was specified. There will be a memorial service at 10 a.m., Dec. 20, 2014 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Sidney.
