Friday, Nov. 21

“A Night at the Races” will be held Nov. 21st at 6 p.m. at Hillside Golf Course. Six races, dessert auction, 50/50 raffle, complimentary appetizers and cash bar. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Chamber office or at the door. Seats are limited. For more information, call the Chamber at (308) 254-5851.

Sunday, Nov. 23

Lodgepole United Methodist will host Mr. Regg Lechman for Music Sunday Service, will be Sunday, Nov. 23 beginning at 9 a.m. All of the community is invited. Congregation will have a meal and Hanging of the greens following the services.

A Musical Thanksgiving Service at the Chappell United Methodist Church, will be Sunday, Nov. 23 beginning at 10:45 a.m. Music from our Praise Band, Dick Hall, our children, will have some vocal, and Ann Cramer on Organ. All of the community is invited. Congregation will have a meal and Hanging of the greens following the services.

Senior Citizen & Friends Dance will be held at the Cheyenne County Community Center on Sun., Nov. 23 from 2 to 5 p.m. Music by Ray Mullen.

Kimball Promenaders Square Dance Club will have a dance in the old 4-H building in Kimball from 4 to 6 p.m. The caller is Dave Guille. Come and have a great time with Dave. Great food afterward at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 25

The Sidney Public Library will be offering “Together is Fun” for youth kindergarten through 6th grade on Tues., Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. This program will emphasize Thanksgiving Fun with games and/or craft. For more information, please call the library at 254-3110.

Thursday, Nov. 27

Free 8th Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner held at the First United Methodist Church on Thurs., Nov. 27 from noon to 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome! Wednesday, Dec. 3

How the millennial generation-people born between 1980 and 2000-will change the world will be discussed at Lifetree Café on Dec. 3rd at 7 p.m. Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Christmas Craft Show held at Lodgepole Valley Youth Camp on Dec. 6th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call Brenda at 254-7131 for info.

Special Showing of “The Christmas Box” Hallmark movie, Hosted by the Living Memorial Gardens – Angel of Hope, Sidney, on Sat., Dec. 6th, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Fox Theatre in downtown Sidney. This Hallmark movie is based upon the book, The Christmas Box, written by author Richard Paul Evans and is rated “G”. Admission is FREE, with a donation of 2 canned goods.
