Several local pool players were recently recognized for winning the Summer Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 8-Ball Pool League.
The Tuesday 8-Ball title went to Harvey Loyals from Harvey's in Sidney including (pictured from left to right) Nate Bartling, Howie Manchester, Terri Bickford, Bob Jones, Misty Wintholz and Corey Wintholz. Not shown are Justin Butts and Scott Padilla. The "Top Gun" and MVP awards went to Shannon Barnes, Bob Jones and Steve Warner.
Winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA Team Championships to compete for trips to the APA National Team Championships in Las Vegas.
