Employees at Adams Industries – sporting their pink breast cancer awareness T-shirts – show the check for $3,200 that was donated to Night of Hope.
In an active part to support breast cancer awareness month and support a local cancer organization, Adams Industries recently held a company-wide breast cancer fundraiser.
Various breast cancer T-shirts were created for employees to purchase. The employees raised $1,600 through those sales, which with a company match, allowed Adams Industries to donate $3,200 to the Night of Hope.
Brenda Noel, president of Night of Hope, said that the funds raised by Adams Industries would go directly to breast cancer patients in our community.
Even though these funds will be going to breast cancer patients, the Night of Hope offers financial assistance to all cancer patients in our community weather they are being treated here at the Dorwart Cancer Care Center or traveling to any other cancer facility for treatment.
"We appreciate the continued support from Adams Industries and other area businesses that hold fund raising events throughout the year to support our cancer patients in the area." Noel said.
