The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, before the Honorable Randin Roland:
Andrea Mikkelson, age 26 of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI-D (marijuana) 1st offense, a class W misdemeanor. Pre-trial conference was set for Oct. 27.
Dallas Reihman, age 23 of Chappell, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI 1st offense and Refusal of a Chemical Test, both class W misdemeanors. Pre-trial conference set for Nov. 10.
Gavin Batty, age 37 of Sterling, Colo., appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI 1st,, a class W misdemeanor. He pled guilty and received a $500 fine and six months probation.
Brian Gray, age 32 of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of DUI 1st , a class W misdemeanor. He received a $500 fine and nine months of intensive supervised probation.
Barry Recker, age 36 of Peetz, Colo., appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st. a class W misdemeanor. He requested an attorney. Entry of plea set for Nov. 10.
Breanna Demaray, age 24 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st. A class W misdemeanor. She requested an attorney. Entry of plea set for Nov. 10.
Jay Gibson, age 49 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st, a class W misdemeanor. He appeared with counsel and pled not guilty. Pre-trial conference set for Nov. 10
Ronny Murphy, age 35 of Scottsbluff, appeared for a preliminary hearing on a charge of Possession of Meth, a class IV Felony. He waived the hearing. Arraignment set for Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m. Bond set at 10K with 10 percent allowed.
Donald Christensen, age 28 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st High Test, a class W misdemeanor. He pled guilty and received a $500 fine, two days in jail and nine months probation.
Steven Barber, age 26 of Chappell, appeared for a preliminary hearing on a charge of Theft, a class III felony. He waived the hearing and arraignment has been scheduled for Nov. 5at 8:30 a.m.
Gerald Barkell, age 57 of Lodgepole, appeared for presentment on a charge of Failing to Register as a Sex Offender, a class IV felony. Preliminary hearing set for Oct. 22.
Diane Willis, age 50 of Sidney, appeared for a preliminary hearing on a charge of Terroristic Threats and Strangulation, both class IV felonies. She waived the hearing and arraignment has been set for 11/5 at 8:30 a.m.
The following people appeared in Deuel County Court on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, before the Honorable Randin Roland:
Dennis Mead, age 23 of North Platte, Neb., appeared for a preliminary hearing on a charge of Possession of Cocaine with Intent, a class IC Felony. He waived his preliminary hearing. Arraignment set for Nov. 3 at 1:30 p.m. Bond reduced to 50K with 10 percent allowed.
The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:
Colten Goetting, age 22 formerly of Sidney, appeared for a pre-trial conference on charges of Terroristic Threats, Strangulation and False Imprisonment. A class IV, IV and IIIA felony; respectively. He pled no contest to an amended charge of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, Criminal Mischief, Attempted Terroristic Threats and Attempted Strangulation, all class I misdemeanors. Judge ordered a pre-sentence investigation report. Sentencing was set for Dec. 3 at 10:30 a.m.

Aaron Timmons, age 26 of Sidney, appeared for a preliminary hearing on a charge of Theft, a class III felony. He waived the preliminary hearing. Arraignment set for Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m.
The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:
Steven Barber, age 26 of Chappell, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Theft, a class III felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pled no contest to an amended charge of Theft as a class I misdemeanor. Pre-sentence investigation has been ordered and sentencing set for Dec. 3 at 9:45 a.m.
