Send off with sirens

The Sidney High girls' golf team received a first-class send off to the Nebraska Class B state tournament on Saturday afternoon. The team – comprised of Emma Alexander, Rachel Blauert, Kaleigh Chavez, Jordan Cook, Megan Neal and Theda Parker and coaches Dani Kuchar and Jenn Dinges – was escorted to I-80 by members of the Sidney Fire Department, Sidney Police Department and Emergency Response Care in full lights and sirens as they embarked on their trip to Lincoln. Play in the two-day event is Monday and Tuesday mornings

for the Lady Raiders.
