The Cheyenne County Art Guild will present a free mini-workshop on drawing on Monday, Oct. 13 from 5:15-6:45 p.m. at the Shelter House in Legion Park.
Instruction in how to draw and drawing what you see will be given by J.I. McElroy. The mini-workshop is suited for the person who has always wanted to learn how to draw, as well as for the seasoned artist.
Pencils and paper will be provided, although people are welcome to bring their own pencils. The Shelter House will be open at 4:30 p.m. and artists are welcomed to bring their artworks in progress and draw or paint during this time, as well.
The free mini-workshop will be followed by the Cheyenne County Art Guild meeting at 7 p.m., which will also have a short drawing lesson after the meeting. Anyone interested in art is welcome to attend all of the events.
