Court Briefs 10-03-14

The following people appeared in Deuel County Court on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Aaron Timmons, age 25 formerly of Sidney (now Missouri), appeared for presentment on a charge of theft. A class III Felony. He requested counsel. Preliminary hearing set for Oct. 15 at 4:15 p.m. Bond set at $50,000 with 10 percent allowed.

The following people appeared in Deuel County Court on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Diane Willis, age 49 of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of strangulation and terroristic threats – both class IV felonies. She requested counsel. Preliminary hearing set for Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.. Bond set at $10,000 with 10 percent allowed.

Jamie Holtz, age 28 of Sidney, appeared for a preliminary hearing on an amended charge of two counts of distribution of marijuana and one count of possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver or distribute – all class III felonies. He waived the preliminary hearing. Arraignment set for Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m.

Cynthia Grant, age 39 of Sidney, appeared for a preliminary hearing on two charges of distribution of marijuana and possession of hash – class III felony and a class IV felony. She waived the preliminary hearing. Arraignment set for Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m.
