Court Briefs 08-13-14

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Brandon Terry, age 27 of Aurora, Colorado appeared for a status hearing on a charge of burglary, a class III felony. A status hearing has been continued to Oct. 1 at 1:30 p.m.

Kathy Heth, age 59 of Sidney appeared for a status hearing on a charge of possession of hydrocodone, a class IV felony. A status hearing has been continued to Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.

Colten Goetting, age 21 of Kimball (formerly Missouri) appeared for arraignment on charges of false imprisonment, terroristic threats, strangulation and criminal mischief, class IIIA, IV, IV, IV and IV felonies, respectively. A status hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 3 at 9 a.m

Paige Lohman, age 24 of Sidney appeared for a status hearing on a charge of theft, a class IV felony. A status hearing is set for Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.

Johnny Lancaster, age 52, of Sidney appeared for a status on a charge of DUI 3rd offense high test, a class IIIA felony. A status hearing is set for Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.

David Lancaster, age 25 of Sterling (formerly of Sidney, NE) appeared for sentencing on charges of attempted distribution of marijuana, a class IV felony. He received five years intensive supervised probation and was ordered to pay $220 in restitution.

Andrew Fairbanks, age 20 of Sidney appeared for a status hearing on a charge of child abuse, a class IIIA felony. A status hearing was continued to Sept. 9 at 9:30 a.m.

Joe Liges, age 54 of Sidney appeared for arraignment on two cases with one charge of possession of meth each, both class IV felonies. A status hearing was set for Sept. 9 at 9 a.m.
