Engagement: Carley, Hayek to marry

Kristi Hayek and Matthew Carley, together with their parents, are pleased to announce their upcoming marriage.

Kristi is the daughter of Ronald and Marilyn Hayek of Friend, Neb. She graduated from Friend High School in 1998. A Concordia University-Nebraska alumna, she now serves as a Program Officer at Humanities Nebraska, a statewide non-profit organization.

Matt is the son of Kay Carley of Dalton and the late Gordon Carley. He graduated from Leyton High School in 1989. A Chadron State College alumnus, he now works for Shelby-Rising City Public Schools as Technology Director and a high school social studies teacher.

The couple is planning a July 26 wedding at St. John's Lutheran Church in Cordova, Neb. The couple plans to reside in Seward, Neb.
