The following person appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Thursday, June 19, before the Honorable Randin Roland:
James Corne, age 25 of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on charge of 3rd Degree Assault, a class I misdemeanor. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled no contest to that offense. He received 6 months in county jail with a concurrent sentence with a District Court Case, where he received 24-36 months in the Department of Corrections.
The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Thursday, June 19, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:
James Corne, age 25 of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on charge of Terroristic Threats, a class IV felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled no contest to an amended charge of Attempted Terroristic Threats, a class I misdemeanor. His sentence is listed above.
Roger Stuart, age 64 of Potter, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Distribution of Oxycontin, a class III felony. A jury trial is set for July 31 and Aug. 1, at 8:30 a.m. His pre-trial conference is set for July 8 at 9 a.m.
