Court Briefs 06-20-14

The following people appeared in Deuel County Court on Thursday, June 19, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Michael Vernon, age 46 of Alliance, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI- 1st Offense, a class W misdemeanor. He entered a not guilty plea. A pre-trial conference is set for July 17.

Carl Willy, age 23 of St. Paul, Minn., appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI-Drugs 1st Offense, a class W misdemeanor. He pled guilty and received a sentence of 7 days in jail plus a $500 fine.

Jordan Dawkins, age 29 of Lewellen, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI-Drugs 3rd Offense. This is a class W misdemeanor. He requested an attorney. Entry of Plea is set for July 17.

Jarod Schaeffer, age 20 of Chappell, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 1st Offense, a class W misdemeanor. He requested an attorney. Entry of Plea set for July 17.
