Mary Melvina Savely, 88 of Lodgepole, and longtime Colorado Springs, Colo. resident, was welcomed to heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the home of her son in Lodgepole.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Mon., May 12th in the First Southern Baptist Church, 1409 Palmer Park Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80907 with Dr. David Tomme officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church starting at 1 p.m. on Monday prior to services. Blunt Mortuary in Colorado Springs is in charge of Colorado arrangements. No local services are planned. Friends may stop at the Savely home in Lodgepole to sign Melvina’s Book of Remembrance.
