Serving proudly since 1873 as the beautiful Nebraska Panhandle's first newspaper
Peetz played host to a color run on Saturday, the first such race to decorate the community's streets. Close to 325 runners took part in the bright event, raising more than $4,600 for the Peetz Development fund. The money will be used for scholarships. Participants ranged in age from 1 to 75. Here they celebrate the start of the race by tossing colored powder into the air.
