Court Briefs - 04-15-14

The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, April 14, before the Honorable Randin Roland:

Bart Butler, age 35 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Obstruction, a class I misdemeanor. He asked for an attorney. Entry of plea has been scheduled for April 28.

Paige Lohman, age 24 of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of Theft. This is listed as a class IV felony. She requested an attorney. Her preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 30 at 9 a.m.

Tammie Stansbury, age 43 of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of 3rd Degree Assault, which is a class I misdemeanor. A pre-trial conference set for April 28.

Joshua Yack, age 33 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of DUI 2nd and 3rd Degree Assault. These are class W and I misdemeanors, respectively. He requested an attorney. Entry of plea set for April 28.

Thomas Cox, age 21 of Kimball, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI 2nd, a class W misdemeanor. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled guilty to an amended charge of DUI 1st Offense, also a class W misdemeanor. He received 7 days in jail.

Madison Harris, age 24 of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge DUI 1st and Chemical Refusal. Both are class W misdemeanors. A pre-trial conference is set for May 12.
