The following people appeared in Deuel County District Court on Tuesday, March 11, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Corbin Coomes, age 23 of Sidney, appeared for a pre-trial conference on a charge of Distribution of Marijuana in a School Zone. This is a class ID felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled guilty to an amended information of Attempted Distribution of Marijuana and Attempted Distribution of Hydrocodone. Both are class IV felonies. Sentencing is scheduled for April 15 at 4:30 p.m.

Douglas Wiese, age 45 of Des Moines, Iowa, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Strangulation and Terroristic Threats. Both are class IV felonies. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled Guilty to Attempted Strangulation and Attempted Terroristic Threats, both class I misdemeanors. He received a sentence of 53 days.

Kameron Walker, age 20, formerly of Sidney (now of Ark.), appeared for a status hearing on two charges of Distribution of Hydrocodone and one of Distribution of Marijuana. All are class III felonies. A status hearing has been scheduled for April 8 at 4:30 p.m.

Jennifer Cartwright, age 31 of Sidney, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine, a class IV felony. Her suppression hearing is scheduled for May 16 at 9 a.m.

William Jackson, age 44 of Dalton, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Terroristic Threats and Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony. The charges are a class IV felony and class II felony, respectively. Entry of Plea has been scheduled for March 20 at 2 p.m.

Jonathon Jackson, age 19 of Dalton, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Terroristic Threats and Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, listed as a class IV felony and class II felony, respectively. Entry of Plea has been scheduled for March 20 at 2 p.m.

The following person appeared in Deuel County District Court on Tuesday, February 11, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:

Jeff Baldridge, age 51 of Chappell, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine, a class IV felony. A suppression hearing has been scheduled for May 16 at 1 p.m. A jury trial is set for June 9 at 9 a.m.
