Sidney graduate Kaitlyn Wells, junior at University of Nebraska-Kearney, broke the meet record at the Concordia Indoor Invitational on Feb. 14 in the 800 meter run, setting a new mark of 2.18:58.
She is also a member of the 4 X 400 relay team which broke the meet record with 3.55:64.
On March 2 at the MIAA Conference Championships in Joplin, Mo., the 4x4 relay team placed second with a time of 3:53:31.
Wells is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Social Work.
