The following people appeared in Cheyenne County District Court on Wednesday, March 5, before the Honorable Derek Weimer:
Jarred Neuhalfen, age 20 of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, a class IV Felony. He received 5 years of intensive supervised probation and 12 days in jail.
Charles Smith, age 37 of Dix, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Terroristic Threats, a class IV felony. His status hearing has been scheduled for June 4 at 9:30 a.m.
Roger Stuart, age 61 of Potter, appeared for a status hearing on a charge of Distribution of Oxycontin. This is a class III Felony. His status hearing has been scheduled for April 8 at 2 p.m.
Michael Livingstone, age 22 of Potter, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of Attempted Distribution of Marijuana, a class IV felony. He received 5 years of intensive supervised probation and 93 days in jail.
Monica Gehrig, age 30 now of Sidney, (formerly of Sterling, Colo.) appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of two counts of Possession of Oxycodone. Both are class IV felonies. She received 39 days in jail and 48 months of probation.
Jason Cagle, age 30 of Sidney, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of Attempted Delivery of Marijuana. This is a class IV Felony. He received 270 days in jail.
Gina Christensen, age 31 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Theft, a class IV Felony. Pursuant to a plea agreement, she pled guilty to an amended charge of Theft as a Class I misdemeanor and agreed to pay $450 in restitution to the victim. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. Sentencing is scheduled for May 7 at 10 a.m.
Nathan Pohl, age 29 of Sidney, appeared for arraignment on a charge of Burglary, Felon in Possession of a Deadly Weapon and Escape. All are class III felonies. He appeared with counsel and pled not guilty. A jury trial has been scheduled for April 15-16. The pre-trial conference is scheduled for April 2 at 9:30 a.m.
CORRECTION: The court release published on Monday incorrectly listed Kevin Pierce, age 27 of Sidney, appearing for presentment on a charge of Possession of Meth. He in fact appeared on a charge of Possession of Hashish.
