Soccer registration

The Cheyenne County Community Center is taking Youth Soccer registrations until Mar. 10. Anyone signing up after that date will be put on a waiting list.

The cost of signing up is $25 plus an additional $30 for uniforms. Uniforms include a reversable jersey and red and blue socks if needed. The program will be divided into three divisions. Division I will be U6, Division II U8 and U10 and Division III for U12. Games will be played Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Anyone interested in being a volunteer coach can contact Sports Director Tracy Pelster at the Community Center at 254-7000.

The CCCC is also looking for Youth Soccer officials. Anyone interested is encouraged to drop by the Community Center to get signed up. You will be asked to provide your name, phone number and email address. Deadline for officials to sign up is Mar 21.

All officials must complete a mandatory training class that will take two hours. This is a paid training that will be scheduled during the week of Mar 24-29. Officials will not be able to referee a game unless they complete the class. There will be no exceptions. Officials will be paid $10 per game.
