Friends and family gathered around Carol Olson in her home on Thursday as Blain Schilreff, founder of the non-profit organization Pay It Forward the American Way, displays a photo of the lodge at Mt. Rushmore where Olsen and family will stay on her dream vacation. Schilreff founded the organization on October 19, 2013 "to make dreams come true for those less fortunate," and has helped to raise about $28,000 since its founding.
