The following people appeared in Cheyenne County Court on Monday, Feb. 24, before the Honorable Randin R. Roland:

David Pierce, age 49 of Sidney, appeared for a pre-trial conference on a charge of DUI 1st Offense and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. The charges represent a class W and I misdemeanor, respectively. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled guilty to an amended charge of DUI 1st, a class W misdemeanor. He received 6 months probation and $600 in fines and costs.

Willie Allison, age 18 of Cuba, NY, appeared for a pre-trial conference on a charge of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, which is a class I misdemeanor. He pled to Attempted Carrying a Concealed Weapon, a class II misdemeanor. He received $400 in fines and costs.

Lonny Buttle, age 47 of Lodgepole, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI 1st High Test and Possession of Marijuana over 1 pound--a class W and III misdemeanor, respectively. A pre-trial conference scheduled for March 24.

Marco Solis, age 23 of Sidney, appeared for entry of plea on a charge of DUI and Disturbing the Peace. These are class W and III misdemeanors, respectively. He asked for an attorney. Pursuant to a plea agreement he pled guilty to DUI 1st and Disturbing the Peace. A class W and III misdemeanor, respectively. He received 9 months of probation and $600 in fines and court costs.

Robert Medina, age 30 of Sidney, appeared for Arraignment on a charge of DUI 2nd High Test, a class W misdemeanor. He was represented by counsel. Entry of plea is scheduled for March 10.

David Rowe, age 50 of Lodgepole, appeared for sentencing on an amended charge of Obstructing and DUI 1st High Test. The charges are class I and W misdemeanors, respectively. He received Intensive Supervised Probation for 24 months, 2 days in jail, waivable jail time and $650 in fines and costs.

Richard Haupt, age 27 of Sidney, appeared for a pre-trial conference on a charge of DUI 2nd, Refusal of Chemical Test and 3rd Degree Assault. The charges amount to two class W misdemeanors and a class I misdemeanor, respectively. Pursuant to a plea agreement, he pled to DUI 2nd Offense, a class W misdemeanor. He received 12 months probation and $500 in fines and costs.

Alex Balandran, age 20 of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of Possession of Child Pornography: Being 19 or older. This is considered a class III felony. He asked for an attorney. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 3 at 2:30 p.m.

Gina Christensen, age 32 of Sidney, appeared for presentment on a charge of Theft, a class IV Felony. She asked for an attorney. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 3 at 1:30 p.m.

David Fowler, age 23 of Beverly Hills, Fla., appeared for presentment on a charge of Possession of Meth, which is a class IV Felony. He requested an attorney. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 3 at 3 p.m.
