The Cheyenne County Sheriff's Office is searching for two individuals in connection with recent burglaries in rural parts of the county.
Martika Biggert is wanted for theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies. Sean Gdowski is wanted for theft by receiving stolen property, attempted possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school zone and possession of a controlled substance.
The sheriff's office is asking for help from the public in locating both of these individuals in connection with several burglaries in the area, which local law enforcement have been investigating since November. In recent weeks, the sheriff's office, the Sidney Police Department, the Nebraska State Patrol and the Western Nebraska Intelligence and Narcotics Group worked together on searches and interviews for this investigation. Some of the items stolen in the burglaries have been located.
Anyone with information about these crimes should contact the sheriff's office at 254-2922, the police department at 254-5515 or crime stoppers at 254-3344.
"The investigation is very active and ongoing," said Cheyenne County Sheriff, John Jenson.
