Eila McVicker passed away Jan. 7, 2014 at the age of 88 years 4 days. She was born Jan. 3, 1926 to Rosa & Charles Gathman at Gurley. She married Jack McVicker June 15, 1947. They lived and farmed in the Gurley area until they retired and moved to Bella Vista, Ark. She is preceded in death by her husband Jack and brothers Ross & LeRoy Gathman. She is survived by daughters Cindy (Lloyd) Bartels of Bruning, Neb. & Jacque (Bryan) Wilcox of Gilbert, Ariz. and son Mike (Barb) McVicker of Longmont, Colo., 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and other family and friends. A memorial service will be held March 22, 2014 in Bella Vista.
