Jonathon Jackson, 19 and his father William Jackson, 44 both of Dalton were charged with terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, for an incident that occurred in late December.
Arrest warrants were issued in Cheyenne County for the Jacksons on Dec. 28 and both were subsequently arrested and bonded out. Bond was set at $250,000 each.
According to a Cheyenne County sheriff's office report, Jeremy Reimers was walking to Jessica Cook's residence in Dalton on Dec. 26 with James Goeman and Camden Grasnick when the group was confronted by William Jackson behind Jackson's residence. Jackson allegedly threatened the men with a revolver and told them to stay off his property and away from his vehicle, otherwise he would beat them and shoot them. Reimers also indicated that Jackson was holding a bat at the time he threatened the group.
After the three men arrived at Cook's residence, Jonathon Jackson reportedly entered the home, also carrying a hand gun. This man also threatened the group to stay away from his property, according to the affidavit.
Goeman corroborated Reimers' statements.
Cook also made a statement to the sheriff's office about the events of Dec. 26 stating that Jonathon Jackson pounded on her door around 9:30 that night and entered when she opened the door. Jackson then proceeded to yell profanities at her and threatened to kill her while waving a gun, Cook stated in the report.
Others present at Cook's residence when Jackson entered could not identify him and did not mention that he had a gun.
On Dec. 26, a Cheyenne County sheriff's deputy responded to a trespass call in Dalton from William Jackson. Jackson complained that his son, Jonathon Jackson had seen unauthorized people in their dump truck earlier that night and then about thirty minutes later saw three men walking in the alley near his residence.
William Jackson admitted to confronting the men walking near his home, but did not mention having a gun or baseball bat at the time, the report stated.
