The children of Carlleen Joan (Temple) Fehrenbach announce the return of her soul unto the Lord on Dec. 22, 2013. Carlleen was born in Sidney on Feb. 26, 1929 to the parents of Marguerite and Carl Temple. As a child, Carlleen resided on a ranch outside of Peetz, Colo. until she married William Joseph Fehrenbach on July 19, 1947. They lived in Peetz, Ness City and Oakley, Kan. as they raised their family.

Carlleen was preceded in death by her husband Bill, three sons, and her parents Harry S. (stepfather) and Marguerite Ayres of Peetz..

Carlleen enjoyed raising and spending time with her surviving children, sons and spouses: Joe and Becky Fehrenbach, Australia; Ray and Julie Fehrenbach, Fla.; Dennis and Maureen Fehrenbach, Wash., Kenny and Belen, Philippines, Marvin and Tracy Fehrenbach, Colo.; and daughters and spouses Pat and John Greer, Liberal, Kan.; Terri Carlton, Wichita, Kan.; Phyllis and Louis Miller, Sedalia, Colo., Rose and Tom Smith, Topeka, Kan.; and Midge and Fred Walters, Halstead, Kan.

She retained her youth by enjoying nature and sharing her life with her 26 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Celebration of her life is to begin Thurs., Dec. 26 with a viewing at 5 p.m. and Vigil and Rosary at 6 p.m. at the Tennant Funeral Home, Sterling, Colo.  A funeral mass will be conducted Dec. 27 at 10 a.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and conclude at the Peetz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Peetz Cemetery in care of Tennant Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1547, Sterling, CO 80751.

Tennant Funeral Home in Sterling is in charge of Carlleen's care and funeral arrangements.
