Author's books available

Roberta Peters started writing books when she went into retirement. She has since published six titles: “Our Amazing Dogs,” “Our Amazing Cats,” which has two volumes, “How to Make Your Cat Adore You,” “The Cat Lady Collection” and “Some Incredibly Important Notes to Myself.”

The animal rescue shelter she opened in 2002 called Hi Paws inspired the five books about animals. The last book listed is a Do-It-Yourself journal.

“These [books] are my retirement fun,” Peters said.

All six books are on display and for sale at the Book Corner, with two or three copies of each. The establishment promotes the work of local authors.
