Patsy Anne Bauer
1941 to 2013
Patsy “Pat/Patty” Anne Bauer left for her eternal life on November 22, 2013 surrounded by loved ones after a strong, brave battle with cancer right to the end. She was born June 29, 1941 in Sidney, to John S. Call and Nellie Marie Wimer Call. She was married to the man who held her heart, Eugene “Cookie” Bauer in Nov. 1986 in Evanston, Wyo. They were married for 20 plus wonderful years before he passed.
She attended Sidney High School in Sidney; Weber Adult School, Ogden, UT; and Weber State University, Ogden, UT where she earned a Bachelor’s degree. Patsy was a very loving, caring, smart, talented, funny, mischievous, well rounded lady. Some of the employment she had was a presser for several linen companies, a truck driver, owner of several ceramic shops, and a social worker. As a social worker she worked for The Division of Aging Services in Weber County. She was a very talented artist, painter and poet. She loved her enjoyable trips to the Cheese Factory, sewing, genealogy, and just seeing and taking in all of the wonderful views of the world. She was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, grandmother and friend. She was an Outside Guard at The Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Lodge # 2472 Ogden, UT.
So many of us had the wonderful pleasure of having her as a part of our lives. She had accomplished so much in her life, but yet was never satisfied, always striving to learn more and see more. Always wanting to meet new people and befriend them. Her list of friend is endless. The unconditional love that she had for one person was the unconditional love that she had for all. There are so many people that she considered her sons and daughters. She is survived by her sister Bonnie (Hector) Larini, of Covina Cali.; son John Anthony Rosario of Palisades Colo., “Brownie” of Farr West, UT, grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband Eugene “Cookie” Bauer, infant son Calvin, parents John S. Call and Nellie Marie Wimer Call, brothers Elmer, Joe, Calvin, Jack, Bob, Charles, and sisters Lucy, Mary, Susan (Toots), Ruth, and Katherine May, with all of whom a long awaited reunion is now made. A special Thank You to CURO Hospice, Carl Farr, Melanie Kern, Melanie Kern, Mike Kern, Jan Farr, Jean Hart and everyone else that assisted during her journey home. From Patsy, she said “Tell everyone I love them and that I will miss them.” Services were held Nov. 25, 2013 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, Ogden UT.
