Honoring those who have served

A coffee social and Veterans Day program was held at 10 a.m. on Monday with the Leyton chorus performing for the Veterans and their families.

The Leyton concert band played the National Anthem. The band also played a wonderful rendition of all of the military songs. Following that, a presentation from Gordy Stitt (Gehrig Stitt Funeral Home) was made to the Gurley/Dalton American Legion groups. They were presented with a bugel & recording of TAPS to be used at military services.
