With the Cool Kids Club third grade class are Lee Wiegan of Cabela's, Connie Carrillo, the company's retail marketing manager, Coleen Langdon of the Cool Kids Club and Rodney Davidson from Cabela's.
Cabela's presented a check for $2,300 to Sidney's Cool Kids Club on Wednesday. The funds, raised in part through the company's charity golf tournament, will help cover the enrollment cost for children who otherwise couldn't not afford to participate.
"Cabela's has been extremely supportive of our program," said Cool Kids Club program director Coleen Langdon. "Cabela's is the champion of after school."
Cool Kids Club/No Limits is in its 13th year. There are currently over 200 local students involved in their after school and summer events.
The presentation took place at North Elementary. Last year the school was the beneficiary of new playground equipment donated by Cabela's.
