Karen Fecht

Karen Yvonne Fecht passed away June 3, 2013 in Tucson, AZ.  She was born May 16, 1955 in Dalton, NE to Herbert & Darlene Fecht.  She spent most of her life in Omaha raising her family.  In 2005 she moved to Arizona to be close to her daughters & grandchildren.  Last year she returned to Lincoln to be the House Director of Alpha Xi Delta sorority.  Karen touched many lives over the years, and her kind & gentle nature will be remembered by all.  She was a talented cook, gardener, and seamstress.

Her memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday June 22, 2013 in the United Church of the Plains (Trinity site) in Dalton, Nebraska with Pastor Eric Ahlm officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Dalton Cemetery.

Karen is survived by her parents, her brother John (Pam) Fecht & her sisters Susan (Jim) Gleason & Nancy (Don) Polodna.  As well as her children Anna Wedberg (Jesús Robles), Ali (Dan) Parent, Joel (Sharon) Wedberg, her 7 grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
