Rose M. Legg, age 65 of Sidney, NE passed away Monday evening, June 10, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Sidney.

Cremation has been held. No local services are planned at this time. Memorial services and inurnment will take place at a later date in Oregon.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.

Rose Marie Legg, the daughter of Morris Thomas and Evonne Marie (Gregory) Gallinger, was born on December 13, 1947 at Cucamonga, CA. She lived in the Tacoma, WA area for most of her adult life with a brief stay in Winslow, AZ before coming to live with her daughter Sarah in Sidney.

Rose was a loving wife and mother and devoted her life to her children.

Survivors include her children: Mike Dillahunty of Sidney, Faedra Mathews and husband Jay of Warrenton, OR, Billy Steele of Sidney and Sarah Gallinger of Sidney; (6) grandchildren: Michelle, Breanna, McKayla, Katelynn, Kylieannah and Liam; (1) great-grandson: Devin; (1) brother: Tom Gallinger and wife Pat of Golden, CO; (1) sister: Margaret Stafford of Arbuckle, CA and numerous extended family members and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents.
