Mark Adams

Mark Allen Adams, age 26, of Haxtun, Colorado, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Holyoke, Colorado.

Mark was born August 13, 1986 to Robert and Karen (Mather) Adams in Sterling, Colorado. Mark was raised in Peetz, Colorado along with brothers Jonathan and Matthew. He graduated from Peetz high school and went on to Goodland, Kansas to get his degree in Diesel technology from Northwest Kansas Tech. After a five year courtship, Mark married Alana (Scheid) Adams and they were blessed with two children Hailey and Lindsey. Mark worked at Case IH in Sidney, Nebraska for five years, Cabelas Retail in Sidney. The family moved to rural Haxtun last year so Mark could take a job at MV Equipment in Holyoke, Colorado where he served as a parts salesman.

Mark enjoyed doing anything that required him to be out doors, four wheeling and Dodge trucks. He enjoyed visiting and always had time to stop and talk. Most of all he loved his family.

Preceding him in death are his mother Karen Adams-Dallegge, Grandpa Lyle Mather, Grandpa Wayne Adams and infant brother Stephen.

Surviving him are his wife Alana, daughters Hailey and Lindsey, father Robert Adams of Peetz, Colorado, brothers Jon (Ashlee) Adams of Iowa, Matt (Alicia) Adams of Big Springs, Nebraska, nephews Riley and Andrew of Big Springs, nieces Madisen of Big Springs and Elizabeth of Iowa, Grandmothers Gladys Adams and Marion Mather, several Aunts and Uncles and dear friends Brandon Sparks and Levi Whitman.

There will be no visitation for Mark as Cremation was chosen.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June15, 2013 10:30 AM at Gerk Funeral Home, Holyoke, Colorado.

Services will conclude at the Funeral Home.

Memorial Contributions may be given to Mark Adams Memorial Fund, 14426 CR 7, Haxtun, CO 80731.
