Dress Down Day funds

This morning at 10 a.m. Judy Henzie from the Cheyenne County Ladies Chamber presented a check in the amount of $946.75 outside of Dick’s Flooring to Rich Fiegenschuh and the Cruisen Class Car Show for the purchasing of meals for the show, door prizes, and postage and printing fees for the show. Also present was Mickie Calahan from Security First Bank and Security First Insurance. Mickie represented one of the many businesses that participate in Dress Down Days on the third Friday of every month. The Dress Down Day donations recipient for April will be the Historic Downtown Sidney Christmas Decoration Project, and the funds will go towards enhancing Hickory Street Square for the Christmas holiday season with large Christmas bulbs, gift boxes and possibly a festive archway.
