There will be a Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Cheyenne County Community Center. Admission is free.
The Health Center Foundation (HCF) will host this year’s annual event a part of an ongoing focus with Sidney Regional Medical Center (SRMC) to encourage the members of the community to pursue a healthy lifestyle and to provide preventive care tips.
This year’s event includes more than 35 booths which will be offering services such as discounted blood screenings, car seat safety checks, health risk assessments and the Nebraska Freemasons CHIPs program and more.
You may find more information at the SRMC web site http://www.sidneyrmc.com. Or you may call Tammy Meier at 308-254-5073 or email her [email protected].
If you are planning to have blood analysis done, you should fast for 12 hours prior to the blood draw, continue taking prescription medications and drink plenty of water. Diabetics should consult their healthcare provider before fasting. Results from the pre-health fair blood screens that were performed in March will be available at this fair.
