The Creek Valley Storm Middle School 6th grade students, assisted by the 5th grade and a few of the 7th and 8th graders, painted “Creek Valley Storm” on the front of the stage in the Lodgepole Middle School gym. The 6th graders studied lettering and created “sets” of coordinating letters in class. They generated many interesting and original lettering styles. From those ideas, Mr. Nordyke developed a set of letters approved by staff and administration that the students could successfully complete.
