Sidney Wrestling Federation team wins Class 'B' crown

Sidney Wrestling Federation’s Wrestling Club, for grades 6 through 8, finished as Class B champion at the Huskerland Wrestling Finals in Grand Island. Team members are front row (Trey Arellano, Kaden Vowers, Casey Higer, Steven Toyofo, Bryce Burry, Christian Letcher and Xavier Runge. In back are coaches Mark Vowers and Travis Arellano,Nathanial Curello, Peyton Hill, Derek Robb, Colby Haas, Kade Price, Colton Peckham, and coaches Steven Vach and Chuck Robb. Not present for the photo was Eleah McNight. The team advanced out of its own Sidney Regional on March 3.

Sidney Wrestling Federation’s Grades 3 through 5 team competed in last weekend’s State Huskerland Finals in Grand Island and came away with the Class B second-place plaque.
